Guida Door & Window has installed replacement windows and built custom entry doors for Philadelphia homeowners since 1950, working factory-direct from our own shop just over the county line in Boothwyn. Rowhomes are our element: we custom-measure every unit for openings that were never square to begin with, and we carry vinyl windows, steel and fiberglass entry doors, security and aluminum storm doors, and patio doors to fit them. We measure, give you an honest quote, and schedule on your timeline, with no pressure.
Philadelphia’s housing is defined by its rowhomes and twins, from 19th-century brick in the older neighborhoods to the porch-front and airlite rows of the Northeast and Southwest, alongside newer construction and rehabbed blocks throughout. In the older rows, the job is a clean fit that works around settled, out-of-square openings and preserves the trim; in the newer and rehabbed homes, it’s usually retiring tired or early-failure units. Every replacement window is measured to its actual opening, honestly quoted, and scheduled around you
